On October 25, 2025, the Trade Union of Viet Duc Electric Welding Rod Joint Stock Company held its 28th Congress for the 2025-2030 term in a democratic, united, and responsible atmosphere, successfully completing all the planned agenda items.
Attending and directing the Congress were Ms. Ho Thi Mai Huong - Vice President of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, Ms. Dang Thanh Huong - President of the Trade Union of Thuong Tin Commune, Mr. Hoang Xuan Thanh - Secretary of the Company's Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien - Director of the Company, and representatives from the company's leadership, heads of departments, workshops, production units, and 90 outstanding delegates representing 203 union members throughout the Company.
Results of work during the 2023–2028 term
The Congress summarized and evaluated the results of trade union activities and the workers' movement during the 2023-2028 term and set forth targets, directions, tasks, and solutions for implementing activities in the 2025-2030 term. During the 2023-2028 term, to support the professional departments in overcoming difficulties in production and business, the Company's Trade Union has consistently innovated both in content and methods of operation, effectively fulfilling its functions of participating in management, propaganda and education, and caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees. The Company's trade union at all levels has always encouraged union members and employees to promote research and application of science and technology, proactively and actively undertaking important projects and tasks to strive to complete the Company's annual production and business targets. Cultural, artistic, and sports activities aimed at improving the spiritual and cultural life of employees have been maintained and promoted, attracting a large number of employees to participate, fostering a spirit of solidarity and attachment between employees and the company, and building trust among union members in the trade union organization. The company always fully participates in social welfare activities, affirming its responsibility to the community.

Leader's remarks and instructions
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Ho Thi Mai Huong, Vice President of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, praised and acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the Company's Trade Union during the past term. Despite the many difficulties in production, the Company's Trade Union fully and responsibly participated in activities organized by the Group; closely adhering to the political tasks and targets of the unit. She emphasized: With the determination of the Party and State in this era of national progress, it is hoped that each trade union member will strive to make a positive mark in their work journey in this era. She also requested that the new Trade Union Executive Committee continue to closely adhere to the political tasks and targets set by the Party Congress to implement the tasks and strive to achieve the targets set by the Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term. This includes combining innovation in content and methods of operation; and working alongside the enterprise and its employees. thereby strengthening the company's position as the leading supplier of welding wire in Vietnam.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Hoang Xuan Thanh - Secretary of the Party Committee - congratulated and highly appreciated the achievements made; he requested the new Executive Committee to promote its pioneering and creative role; further improve the efficiency of its work; practically care for the material and spiritual lives of employees; and build and spread corporate culture. In implementing emulation campaigns, it is necessary to encourage and motivate employees to boldly express their ideas, support them in writing their ideas, and promptly reward them if the ideas are feasible. He also requested the new Trade Union Executive Committee to include in its tasks and work program the content of promoting digital transformation, scientific research, and the application of new technologies in production; building a disciplined, creative, and safe working environment, aiming to make the Company a happy workplace.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee for the 28th term, 2025-2030, consisting of 9 members, and elected delegates to attend the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union.
Comrade Nguyen Hong Quang – Chairman of the Company's Trade Union for the 27th term – was re-elected by the congress to the position of Chairman of the Company's Trade Union for the 28th term, 2025-2023.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union awarded a Certificate of Commendation to the Company's Trade Union Executive Committee for outstanding achievements in the "excellent worker" movement and building a strong trade union organization for the 2023-2028 term.
The 28th Congress of the Trade Union of Viet Duc Electric Welding Rod Joint Stock Company, with the spirit of "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development," was successfully concluded, creating an important foundation for the Trade Union and all employees to continue to unite, innovate, and work together with the enterprise to successfully achieve the goals of the 2025-2030 term.
