Features and applications:

  • J420 - VD is a type of coated rutile-based welding electrode. It produces welds with few defects, easy arc ignition, stable arc, minimal spatter, and self-removing slag. The weld is ductile.
  • Suitable for welding low-carbon steel with a load capacity of 430-490 MPa, such as: steel structures, building structures, civil welding, formwork, etc.
  • Welding can be done in any position, including vertical welding from above.

Instructions for use:

  • Clean off oil, grease, and dirt before welding.
  • If the welding rods are damp, dry them at 70-100 ° C for 30-60 minutes before welding.
  • The weld edges are processed according to specifications.
  • Choose the appropriate welding current to avoid defects.
