Features and applications:

  • VD-6013 is a high rutile-coated welding rod. It produces welds with few defects, easy arc ignition, stable arc, minimal spatter, and self-removing slag. The welds are well-refined, resulting in high ductility and good flexural fatigue resistance.
  • Suitable for welding low-carbon steel with compressive strength from 430 to 490 MPa, such as: rolled steel structures, ship hulls, storage tanks, etc.
  • Welding can be done in any position, including vertical welding from above.
