EM12K-VD is designed for use with semi-automatic and fully automated welding systems, including robotic equipment. Its ability to support continuous welding operations helps manufacturers increase productivity, reduce production costs and shorten project lead times.

The wire produces welds with deep penetration and strong bonding between metal surfaces. Once completed, the weld bead is smooth and uniform, helping reduce surface defects and minimise post-weld cleaning and finishing work.

EM12K-VD is particularly suitable for the fabrication of beams and frames, crane structures and heavy industrial equipment. The product can meet a range of technical requirements, including: Applications requiring strength levels of up to 490 MPa; Stable operation on both long straight welds and circular welding paths; Availability in copper-coated and uncoated versions, depending on specific operating requirements

The copper-coated version supports smooth wire feeding and stable arc performance, while the uncoated version provides an alternative for users with different production needs.

For optimum mechanical properties, EM12K-VD is recommended for use with SJ501T welding flux or an equivalent product. This combination helps stabilise the arc, enables easy slag removal and protects the weld pool from environmental contamination during welding.
